Olympia College

Olympia College

Olympia College

Higher institutes of learning should be made accessible to all. That was the basis which formed Olympia College back in 1995. A member of the established Raffles Education Group, we have expanded from the main campus in Kuala Lumpur to include campuses in Petaling Jaya, Ipoh, Penang, Kuantan and Johor Bahru.

Students are given the opportunity to learn in and out of the lecture halls. With qualified lecturers to guide them, many have found career satisfaction as professionals in Business Management, Hospitality, and Finance, Public Relations, Human Resource Management and IT

Keeping with the principle that everyone should be able to enjoy education, all 6 Olympia College centers offer certificates, pre- university, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These programmes lead to external awards from United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland and Australian institutions that Olympia is affiliated with.

As education evolves, we constantly reinvent our curriculum to be relevant to industries within Malaysia and the international playing field. Testament to our efforts, Olympia College was awarded the “Education Excellence Awards for Best Large College Category” by National Association of Private Education Institution (NAPEI) in 2005,2010,2011,2012 and 2014.

Multimedia University (MMU)

Multimedia University (MMU)

Multimedia University (MMU)

Producer of Desirables:

As a university, MMU’s main output is its graduates. What sets MMU apart, however, is that our graduates are among the most-sought after in the industry. Through surveys conducted by MMU as well as the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education, we’ve learned that, for many consecutive years, up to 97.4 per cent of our graduates were able to secure employment within six months of completing their studies. This means that literally thousands of graduates were able to not only able to quickly secure dependable and lucrative sources of income, but were able to live the career of their dreams.

ICT and engineering powerhouse:

From the moment it was conceptualized, MMU was intended to encapsulate the best practices of the best universities across the world. During the university’s formation, MMU leaders went to some of the top world universities, including MIT, Stanford, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, and Tokyo University to learn first-hand what standards we had to aspire to. These best practices, combined with our intense focus, have enabled MMU to become one of the leading universities in Malaysia, especially in the fields of ICT and Engineering. We understand that the future lies in technology, and we are adamant to help shape people who will help make a better tomorrow.

Independently ranked and recognized:

Despite MMU’s relatively young age and size, its quality, curriculum and reputation is widely recognized. MMU has been listed in Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings by Subject 2015 as a Top 200 University for Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 2014, it had received the recognition for Computer Science & Information Systems; in 2012, for Communication and Media Studies. Also, two of MMU’s engineering professors have been named Top Research Scientists Malaysia by the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.
Wealth of cultures and nationalities
MMU hosts about 1,500 international students from more than 60 countries. Through its Student Affairs Division, the university actively supports cultural sharing activities between all races and nationalities. Regardless of where you come from, in MMU you will find a place for yourself.

Malaysian accreditation, worldwide recognition:

A degree from MMU is approved and accredited by various bodies in Malaysia such as Ministry of Education, Malaysian Qualifications Agency, Public Service Department and multiple professional bodies. As the first private university approved by the Malaysian government, we adhere to the requirements to the highest degree, and our thoughtfully-curated courses and programmes are a testament to our commitment.

Partnership with world’s best:

With collaborations with major ICT players such as Nokia, Intel, Microsoft, Cisco and Motorola, we make sure that students are familiar with the best and latest technologies in support of the learning activities.
