Being His hands and feet through education
Taylor University’s national and state accredited education program seeks to develop competent, caring, and reflective teachers prepared for world service. We want to help you pursue God’s story for your life, while being the hands and feet of Christ to children and young adults in need all over the world.
We offer degrees in elementary, secondary, art and music education. Our elementary education students are placed in schools right away as freshmen. Short-term mission trips and study abroad experiences offer opportunities for you to teach in cross-cultural settings as well as inner-city schools with at-risk students.
Our experienced and dedicated faculty don’t merely tell you how to be a teacher—they set an example of how to be the teacher God has called you to be. The education department is housed in the lower level of the Euler Science Complex.
